主讲人介绍:南京大学至诚特聘教授,长期从事偏微分方程和图像处理的研究,主持了国家自然科学基金重点项目和重大项目课题、科技部国家重点研发计划项目等。和合作者一起获国家图书奖提名奖、全国优秀科技图书一等奖和国家科技进步二等奖等。是国家自然科学基金“数学天元基金”第八、九届学术领导小组成员、全国优秀教师、国家教学名师、全国“五一”劳动奖章获得者。


内容介绍:The nodal set of a solution to a PDE plays an important role in investigating its structures and properties. In this talk, we will show measure upper bounds of nodal sets of eigenfunctions with different boundary conditions of elliptic operators. By introducing doubling indexes to the eigenfunctions which are related to their vanishing orders and establishing various estimates, we can compute the numbers of the different sizes of doubling indexes near the boundaries and obtain the measure bounds.
