报告题目:A survey on stochastic stabilisation and destabilization

报告摘要:The problems of stochastic stabilisation and destabilisation have been intensively studied over the past decade since stochastic modelling has come to play an important role in many branches of science and engineering. This talk will provide an overview of recent advances of a general theory on stochastic stabilisation and destabilisation of differential equations. The recent development of the theory on stabilisation by noise may be summarised into four aspects: 1) generalisation to many classes of systems, 2) using different types of noise, 3) applications of the theory, and 4) extension of control notions to the theory.

报告人简介:Prof Lirong Huang obtained his PhD at Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Strathclyde (Glasgow UK) under supervision of Prof. Xuerong Mao. After his PhD, he worked at Automatic Control Lab, KTH Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden), Automatic Control Laboratory and then Institute of Molecular Systems Biology, ETH Zurich (Switzerland). He is now a research professor at Guangdong University of Technology (Guangzhou, China). He has published many papers in leading journals such as IEEE Trans. Automatic Control, Automatica, Systems & Control Letters.
